Caring For The Land

Our farming operation is deeply committed to continually improving our farming practices to improve soil health and various stewardship practices. We strive to leave the land better then how we found it. By utilizing all of the latest technologies for fertilizer and chemical applications, it allows us to properly apply the correct amount of nutrients to the soil. Taking grid soil samples and implementing that information back into yield results from sections of each field, we can create a prescription on a field by field basis clear down to individual sections in each field and put that information into our application equipment. This in-turn allows us to not over-apply nutrients to the soil and protect the environment. In our fields we implement various forms of erosions control, whether that's with no-till farming, constructing water ways and terraces, or installing drainage tiles; we want to insure that we properly use these various practices to care for the land for the future.
