History

Livingston Family Farms, Nebraska, Corn Field in Sunlight

Farming with Integrity, Hard Work, and Family Values.

Founded in 1990, Livingston Family Farms is owned and run by father and son, Brian and Layne Livingston. Our goal is to produce top quality corn and soybeans, while preserving the environment and striving to be excellent stewards of the land.

Today’s farming has changed compared to 20 years ago. Today we operate one of the premier farming operations. We strive to protect the environment by making conscious decisions when it comes to all aspects of farming. Using the latest technologies and following the best environmental standards, we take care of the soil, which is integral to producing top quality crops year after year.

Brian Livingston

Brian Livingston founded Livingston Family Farms as a corn, soybean, and cattle operation in 1990 and it has since grown rapidly. Brian attended college at Kansas State University and graduated with a degree in Finance, and got his first tract of land when around 20 years ago and purchased his first set of cattle. The farm has grown to include property in Jefferson county, Nebraska, as well as Republic and Washington counties in Kansas. Farming has always been Brian's passion.

Layne Livingston

Having grown up on the farm, Layne Livingston has always been passionate about farming and being a good steward of the land. He worked alongside Brian to help build the farm into what it is today. After graduating high school in 2015, Layne decided to stay on the farm and continue in his father's footsteps.
